Yes. The selected file is opened in your browser and is not sent to a reading server.

Why does part of a chapter look different?

The safety layer can remove scripts and block remote fonts or images. Complex fixed-layout styling is outside the first release.

Is my reading position saved?

The current tab can remember the active chapter. Cloud sync and cross-device reading history are not included.

This EPUB Viewer supports common reflowable EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 packages. Fixed-layout books, media overlays, and publisher-specific features may not render as intended.

What happens to the book when I close the tab?
